Sport is an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment.

At our Lady’s High School, Effurun, we lay a strong emphasis on sports and physical development. Our sport curriculum is planned and designed for learners to develop and enhance skills like strength, speed, endurance, agility, flexibility, control, balance and so on. Sport today has not evolved as a form of entertainment only but also offers promising careers. We believe in mass anticipation. To that effect, the learners have been grouped into four teams (houses) named after the title of our blessed virgin Mary namely:

Our lady of Loretto (Pink house)
Our lady of Fatima (Yellow House)
Our lady of Apostles (Red House)
Our lady of knock (Blue House)
